Planning & Zoning Regular Meeting Minutes

MINUTES OF THE BRUSLY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING
NOVEMBER 16, 2016

The regular meeting of the Brusly Planning & Zoning Commission was held this date, November 16, 2016, at the Brusly Town Hall. Chair Person Perrault called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM.
Commissioner Perkins led the Pledge of Allegiance. A roll call determined the following officials present:

Chair Person:             Ronda Perrault
Commissioners:        Steve Guidry, Kim LeMoine, Steve Perkins, Claudette Purnell, Gary Soniat, Jeff Travasos
Absent:                       None

Others present included Joanne Bourgeois, Don Neisler and Shane Sarradet.

A motion to approve the minutes of August 24, 2016, regular meeting of the Planning & Zoning, as written, was made by Commissioner LeMoine and seconded by Commissioner Travasos. The minutes were approved unanimously.

Other Business:
Chair Person Perrault called for any nominations of Officers to Planning & Zoning Commission. Commissioner Guidry nominated Gary Soniat for Secretary of the Planning & Zoning; seconded by Commissioner LeMoine. Hearing no other nominations, Commissioner Soniat was unanimously elected as Secretary of the Planning & Zoning Commission.
Commissioner Guidry nominated Jeff Travasos for Vice-Chair of the Planning & Zoning; seconded by Commissioner Perkins. Hearing no other nominations, Commissioner Travasos was unanimously elected as Vice-Chair of the Planning & Zoning Commission.
Commissioner Purnell nominated Ronda Perrault to Chair the Planning & Zoning; seconded by Commissioner Travasos. Hearing no other nominations, Commissioner Perrault was unanimously elected as Chair Person of the Planning & Zoning.

Announcements: None

A motion was made by Commissioner Purnell to adjourn; seconded by Commissioner Travasos. The motion passed with a unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned at 6:37 PM.
