Town Planning & Zoning Meeting Minutes – Wednesday, December 16, 2015

MINUTES OF THE BRUSLY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING
DECEMBER 16, 2015

The regular meeting of the Brusly Planning & Zoning Commission was held this date, December 16, 2015, at the Brusly Town Hall. Chair Person Perrault called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM.
Commissioner Soniat led the Pledge of Allegiance. A roll call determined the following officials present:
Chair Person: Ronda Perrault
Commissioners: Kim LeMoine, Gary Soniat, Jeff Travasos
Absent: Steve Guidry, Steve Perkins, Claudette Purnell

A motion to approve the minutes of October 28, 2015 regular meeting of the Planning & Zoning, as written, was made by Commissioner LeMoine and seconded by Commissioner Travasos. The minutes were approved unanimously.

Zoning: None

Planning:
Chair Person Perrault read aloud the Variance Request from Lisa Tripode Morris at 3487 Orleans Quarters Dr. for Non-Compliance – Sec. 19.6 Servitude Encroachment – to build a fence and patio. After determining that culverts had been installed, Commissioner LeMoine offered a motion to recommend approval to the Town Council; seconded by Commissioner Soniat. The motion passed unanimously.

Chair Person Perrault announced the 2016 meeting dates as follows:
January 27th February 24th March 23rd April 27th
May 25th June 22nd July 27th August 24th
September 28th October 26th November TBA December TBA

Remarks of Personal Privilege: None

Announcements:
The Town Hall will be closed December 24th & 25th for Christmas.
The Town Hall will be closed January 1st for New Years Day.

A motion was made by Commissioner Soniat to adjourn; seconded by Commissioner Travasos. The motion passed with a unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned at 6:36 PM
