Town Planning & Zoning Meeting Minutes – Wednesday, June 24, 2009

MINUTES OF THE BRUSLY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING
June 24, 2009

A regular meeting of the Brusly Planning & Zoning Commission was held on Wednesday June 24, 2009 in the Council Meeting Room, Brusly Town Hall, Brusly, Louisiana. Mrs. Rosa Stelly called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM.

Members present: Jules Thibodaux, Rosa Stelly, Gary Soniat, Steve Perkins, Claudette Purnell.

Members absent: Carroll Fontenot, Shane Sarradet.
Others present: Marianne Berthelot, Joanne Bourgeois, Sean Allain.

Upon motion by Mr. Thibodaux seconded by Mr. Perkins, the minutes of the May 27, 2009 meeting were approved with a correction to the time Mrs. Stelly entered the meeting on that date.

PLANNING

Plat Review & Set Public Hearing – The “Final Plat Showing the Resubdivision of Lot 67-A of Live Oak Place Subdivision, Lot 37 of Rodriguez Subdivision and Lot 47 of Hill Subdivision into Lots 67-A-1 and 67-A-2” for Sean Allain located at 3160 Live Oak Drive was reviewed.

Mr. Thibodaux made a motion to set a Public Hearing for the July 22, 2009 meeting. Mr. Perkins seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

ZONING

Under other business and application submitted by Donna M. Hymel for a fence variance at 304 Gleason Street was considered.

Mr. Thibodaux made a motion to recommend approval to the Town Council. Mr. Perkins seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

There was no other business to come before the Planning & Zoning Commission.

Mr. Thibodaux made a motion to adjourn. Mrs. Purnell seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

The meeting adjourned at 6:45 PM.
