ZONING BUSINESS

1) Petition to amend the Zoning Map of the Town of Brusly from R-1 (Residential) to TND (Traditional Neighborhood Development). Property address: South LaBauve Ave. Submitted by H. L. Laws & Company.

The purpose for this item appearing on the Agenda prior to introduction of an amendment by the Town Council was to make the General Implementation Plan available for committee members to review prior to Public Hearing. Mr. Cletus Langlois, Patin Engineers & Surveyors was recognized. He briefly explained the concept and answered questions. He gave a contact number where he could be reached and would be available for any further questions or concerns.

PLANNING BUSINESS

1) Final Plat of Map Showing Subdivision of the Remaining Western Portion of Lot 33, Lots 34 & 35 and a Revoked 20’ Ditch Right-of-Way, Allene Subdivision into Lots 33-A and 34-A for Court Street Development, LLC. Property Address: 2635 Allene St.

Mr. Woody Triche, Surveyor representing Court Street Development, LLC was recognized. He explained that this resubdivision of Remaining Western Portion of Lot 33, Lots 34 & 35 and a Revoked 20’ Ditch Right-of-Way was being done to divide the three lots into two. Because no new lots were being created, it was determined that this plat could be approved administratively. Mayor Joey Normand concurred.

There was no other business to come before the Planning & Zoning Commission.

Mr. Travasos made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Thibodaux seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

The meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission adjourned at 6:45 PM.
