MINUTES OF THE BRUSLY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING
SEPTEMBER 26, 2018

The regular meeting of the Brusly Planning & Zoning Commission was held this date, September 26, 2018, at the Brusly Town Hall. Chairman LeMoine called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. Commissioner Purnell led the Pledge of Allegiance. A roll call determined the following members present:

Commissioners:         Steve Guidry, Ronda Perrault, Claudette Purnell, Gary Soniat,
Absent:                       Steve Perkins, Jeff Travasos
Others Present:           Don Neisler, Mark Tassin, Brent Tassin

A motion to approve the minutes of the August 22, 2018, regular meeting of the Planning & Zoning, as written, was made by Commissioner Perrault and seconded by Commissioner Purnell. The motion passed unanimously.

Planning:

Public Hearing – Preliminary Plat:
Chairman LeMoine opened the Public Hearing for the Preliminary Plat Showing the Subdivision of a 16.562 Acre Tract of Land into Lots MT-1, MT-2 and MT-3 Located in Section 55, T8S-R12E Town of Brusly, West Baton Rouge Parish Southeastern Land District, West Baton Rouge Parish for Mark Tassin (621 N LaBauve Ave.).

Mr. Mark Tassin described the plat and answered questions posed by the Commission. Following the discussion, Chairman LeMoine closed the Public Hearing and referred the matter to the Commission.   A motion to recommend the plat for approval, with a variance for Section 19.10, “(d) dead-end streets,” to the Town Council, was made by Commissioner Perrault; seconded by Commissioner Guidry. The motion passed unanimously.

Announcements:
Yearly Ethics Training for all Commissioners is mandated by the State.

A motion was made by Commissioner Soniat to adjourn; seconded by Commissioner Purnell. The motion passed with a unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned at 6:48 PM.
