Others Present:           Joanne Bourgeois, Don Neisler, Court Bradford, Kristina Kleinpeter

A motion to approve the minutes of the September 28, 2022, regular meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission, as written, was made by Commissioner Perrault and seconded by Commissioner Perkins. The minutes were approved unanimously.

Zoning:  None

Planning:
Chairman LeMoine read aloud and opened the public hearing for the Preliminary Map Showing Subdivision of Lot MT-3-H & Lot HT-2A into Lot HT-2A-1 Located in Sec. 55, T8S – R12E Town of Brusly WBRP Southeastern Land District for Ryan & Kristina B. Kleinpeter, with a variance request of Non-compliance Sec. 120-56(a)&(d) to allow the road to front 50% of the property and eliminate the cul-de-sac. Mr. Court Bradford, representing Ryan & Kristina B. Kleinpeter, explained property extended from the Orleans Quarters cul-de-sac going north all the way to the Ton Ton Canal. The property owner will be installing the road and funding all the utilities to service the property. The reason for the variance is to avoid encroaching upon the Ton Ton Canal and having only one proposed residence on the installed road, eliminating the need for a separate cul-de-sac.

Following a brief discussion, a motion to recommend approval of the plat with variances to the Town Council was made by Commissioner Perrault; seconded by Commissioner Soniat.  Hearing no further comment a roll call was had with the following results:

Yeas:               Guidry, LeMoine, Perkins, Perrault, Soniat, Travasos
