Planning & Zoning Minutes – January 2018

MINUTES OF THE BRUSLY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING
JANUARY 24, 2018

The regular meeting of the Brusly Planning & Zoning Commission was held this date, January 24, 2018, at the Brusly Town Hall. Chairman LeMoine called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM.
Commissioner Purnell led the Pledge of Allegiance. A roll call determined the following members present:
Chairman:                    Kim LeMoine
Commissioners:           Steve Perkins, Ronda Perrault, Claudette Purnell,
Absent:                        Steve Guidry, Gary Soniat, Jeff Travasos

A motion to approve the minutes of December 27, 2017, regular meeting of the Planning & Zoning, as written, was made by Commissioner Purnell and seconded by Commissioner Perkins. The motion passed unanimously.

Points of Personal Privilege:
Mr. Danny Scott, representing his mother, Hazel Marionneaux, presented a proposal of a subdivision of the Marionneaux property, located on Marionneaux Street, in Southside Acres Subdivision, to the Commission. Mr. Scott shared a sketch of the proposed subdivision with the Commission, adding that an individual had signed a purchase agreement for the property. He further stated that the potential buyer will submit a preliminary plat of the proposed subdivision in the near future.

A motion was made by Commissioner Perrault to adjourn; seconded by Commissioner Perkins. The motion passed with a unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned at 6:34 PM.
