MINUTES OF THE BRUSLY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING
February 26, 2020

The regular meeting of the Brusly Planning & Zoning Commission was held this date, February 26, 2020, at the Brusly Town Hall. Chairman LeMoine called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. Commissioner Guidry led the Pledge of Allegiance. A roll call determined the following officials present:

Commissioners:         Steve Guidry, Kim LeMoine, Ronda Perrault, Gary Soniat, Jeff Travasos
Absent:                       Steve Perkins, Claudette Purnell
Others Present:           Joanne Bourgeois, Don Neisler

A motion to approve the minutes of the January 22, 2020, regular meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission, as written, was made by Commissioner Perrault and seconded by Commissioner Guidry. The minutes were approved unanimously.

Planning:

Public Hearing – Final Plat

Chairman LeMoine opened the Public Hearing for the Final Plat of Map Showing Survey & Two Minor Subdivisions of Lots 1 & 2 of the Partition of the Adonis Thibodeaux Heirs Property (A 25.233 Acre Tract of Land) & Lots 23 (0.377 AC.) & 23-A (1.796 AC.) into Lots 22-A-1, OD-1, OD-2, OD-3 & OD-4 located in Sec. 56, T-7-S, R-12-E, Southeast Land District, West of the Mississippi River, Town of Brusly, Parish of West Baton Rouge, State of Louisiana for Oscar Denham.

Mr. Court Bradford, representing Mr. Oscar Denham presented and explained the Final Plat. Mr. Bradford also stated that Mr. Denham is withdrawing his previous preliminary plat that was approved by the Town Council on 07/10/17. Following discussion, Chairman LeMoine closed the Public Hearing and referred the matter to the Commission. A motion to recommend the plat to the Town Council, contingent upon the Lot numbers being changed as discussed and legal ownership of the property confirmed by the Town Attorney, was made by Commissioner Perrault; seconded by Commissioner Guidry. The motion was approved unanimously.

A motion was made by Commissioner Soniat to adjourn; seconded by Commissioner Travasos to adjourn. The motion passed with a unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned at 6:41 PM.
