Planning & Zoning Meeting – May 2018

MINUTES OF THE BRUSLY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING
MAY 23, 2018

The regular meeting of the Brusly Planning & Zoning Commission was held this date, May 23, 2018, at the Brusly Town Hall. Chairman LeMoine called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. Commissioner Perrault led the Pledge of Allegiance. A roll call determined the following members present:
Chairman:             Kim LeMoine
Commissioners:    Steve Guidry, Ronda Perrault, Gary Soniat, Jeff Travasos
Absent:                 Steve Perkins, Claudette Purnell

Others Present:  Joanne Bourgeois

A motion to approve the minutes of the April 25, 2018, regular meeting of the Planning & Zoning, as written, was made by Commissioner Perrault and seconded by Commissioner Soniat. The motion passed unanimously.

Zoning:
Public Hearing – Chapter 19, Zoning Map:
Chairman LeMoine opened the Public Hearing for Chapter 19 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Brusly, State of Louisiana, to amend and re-adopt the official Zoning Map of the Town of Brusly, Louisiana. The new map reflects the changes previously approved during the past two years.

Hearing no comments, Chairman LeMoine closed the Public Hearing and referred the item to the Commission for consideration. A motion to favorably recommend the updated Zoning Map to the Town Council was made by Commissioner Perrault; seconded by Commissioner Soniat. The motion passed with a unanimous vote.

A motion was made by Commissioner Guidry to adjourn; seconded by Chairman LeMoine. The motion passed with a unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned at 6:35 PM.
